As I've mentioned before, not only am I a Frugal Living guru, I'm also an avid reader. So do not think that because I'm frugal, I don't buy anything, including books. I have a library so large in my home, I could open my own real library. The greatest part is that my personal library includes dozens of great books and ways to save money on everything from groceries to clothing and appliances to books. Here are five must have books, to help you save on groceries, cooking and food.

Dining on a Dime: 1000 Money Saving Recipes and Tips by Tawra Jean Kellam and Jilly Cooper - I absolutely love this book. The recipes are great and really are inexpensive to prepare. They aren't things that sound disgusting either. They taste great and there is all types of meals to prepare. This book is simply a must have if you are trying to find ways to save money in the kitchen.

The Frugal Family's Kitchen Book by Mary Weber - This book is filled with the most practical information on saving money and time. It includes a great buying guide, an area for watching your weight and everything is designed to help you feed your family nutritiously for the least amount of money. There are dozens of great recipes, that not only taste great, they are good for you too.

Too Broke to Shop and Cant Cook Anyhow: A How to Guide to Frugal Cooking by Suzy Sharpe - This book is excellent. Suzy shows you ways to save loads of money at the store, including tons of strategies. She's also a whiz at using what you have on hand, and teaches you how. This probably is one of the most budget friendly books I've seen in awhile on saving on groceries. It's certainly a must have.

Miserly Meals: Healthy, Tasty Recipes Under 75ยข per Serving by Jonni McCoy - I love this book! She is a homeschooling mom who teaches you how to prepare meals from scratch, that the whole family will love. There are all types of tips, but the recipes are the main highlight. Soups, slow cooker recipes, main dishes, side dishes, desserts - it's all covered and they are all designed to help you save on your daily eating habits.

The Everything Meals For A Month Cookbook: Smart Recipes To Help You Plan Ahead, Save Time, And Stay On Budget by Linda Larsen - Not necessarily my Once a Month Cooking bible, but darn near close. Linda has filled the pages of this must have book with tons of recipes, tips and so much money saving advice, you will be able to budget better and start saving immediately.
