You'll find sales and reduced prices on all of the following during the month of April. Sprucing up for Spring If you are like me, you have been opening up those windows and letting the fresh spring air breeze through your house. The lovely weather just makes me want to clean and freshen everything inside. The bright sunshine and tender green leaves outside of the window makes me notice those rooms that need painting. The good news is that April is the perfect month to buy paint and wall coverings. This is when you'll find the sales and reduced prices that will let you paint an extra room or upgrade to a high quality designer paint. This doesn't only apply to fine china, but also dishes that you can use for everyday. I am all over this opportunity. In April, you'll be able to save money on eggs of all kind, whether they came from a chicken or a chocolate factory. So stock up on eggs to decorate and to use in your Easter baskets. Remember that chocolate can be frozen, so get the good prices while you can. Kosher foods will also be available for less so take advantage of this. Save on Clothing Isn't it great to be able to stop wearing all of those dark, heavy sweaters and put on something light and bright? Spring finery, from the cliche of the Easter bonnet to pretty spring dresses, separates and children's clothing, the stores will be having sales and reductions on spring clothing and accessories. And if you are a thrift store shopper, now is the time to do some GoodWill hunting, as people are in the mood to clean out their closets and make a new start with their stuff.
