oxford shoe You can look fashionable and fabulous and still be frugal. Get the latest styles but spend so much less than everyone else. You can brag about your finds or just keep them to yourself as your little secret. It is all up to you.

I just wanted to tell you about a very hot shoe that is very in right now. Many women love this show, and it also has gotten husband approval for being sexy but not over the top.

I am talking about the oxford heel. This is a shoe that has been appearing in many fashion magazines as a must have. It is a boot-like shoe with a heel that resembles a classic men's oxford show, but with definite feminine styling. I've seen this show in two version, a shiny patent leather and a regular buttery leather.

The oxford heel is selling most places, on average for between $60 (on sale) and $90. Higher end versions cost even more. But I spotted this same shoe for only $24.95! That is a great deal at about one-third of the cost (average).

I really like this shoe because it seems versatile. While it is hot and trendy, it also features classic styling that should be able to last for a while. It is different yet traditional. I can see wearing this shoe with both dress pants or work wear. Plus, it would go well with nice crisp jeans. Because the shoe is more of a boot, it offers more support than traditional high heels, making it more comfortable to wear.

Where did I spot this bargain? At Payless shoes. The version I purchased is the buttery rather than shiny patent leather. This is the one I saw at the store, and I prefer this, but it looks as though they also have the patent leather which is the more popular. If you choose to purchase the shoe online, look for coupon codes for Payless. Freecoupons often has good coupon codes for this store.

I wish I could wear these shoes! Alas, heels on the verge of three inches are evil to my feet, simply evil. I love the look, though. But it seems to be too high of a heel for what I'd be able to withstand comfortably. I'll still take a look at Payless, and on their site. Thanks! I'd also suggest checking out Amazon.com and Zappos.com for this style. Thank you for the idea of coupon codes. I so often forget to check around for those.

Go try them on. I don't wear heels on a daily basis, but I found these ones to be comfortable.
