Ribbon can be used to hang a picture for a designer look. You may not actually want to use the ribbon to hang it, because it might not support the weight, but you can make it look like the ribbon is doing the job. First hang your picture and then attach the ribbon to both the wall and the picture for this look. Short pieces of ribbon can be used to freshen up teddy bears and other stuffed animals. You can also sew them to dolls dresses. Your home decor can be spruced up as well when you sew or glue leftover ribbon to pillows, pillowcases, sheets, towel, throw blankets, lamps and towels. For home decor, use up your best quality ribbon to make sure that it won't fray. Use ribbon scraps to make ribbon roses that can be attached to everything from clothing to homemade cards. Just fold the ribbon back an forth on a 90 degree angle and then pull one of the sides to form the rose. Use your scraps of ribbon for...well, scrapbooking! Think of all of the fun embellishments that you might be able to make using different colors and types of ribbon. You can also use them to make homemade cards, too. Use ribbon to frame out a photograph. You can then place the photograph in a traditional frame or hang it up as is. What ideas can you come up with for reusing ribbon?
