Paper clips are one of those things you often have lying around all over the house. In an earlier article about Frugal Uses for Paper Clips, I provided a few uses for them. Now I'd like to share some more!

Skirt Pleats

My daughter's own a ton of pleated skirts, and washing and ironing them can be such a chore. However, I did find a way to make ironing a bit easier. Attach a paper clip to individual pleats and iron as you normally would. Helps to define the pleat and make it easier to iron!

Good to the Last Squeeze

Tube of toothpaste? Tube of Ointment? Tube of anything? Just roll the tube at the end and clip with a paper clip. You'll get every remaining squeeze left and no waste!!

Packing Tape Nightmares

I've moved a lot in my life. Packing tape and I do not get along. However, I found a new method to make using it so much easier. You have got to be familiar with the lovely hunt and search you have to go on to figure out where the tape is on the roll. Where is the end? Half the time you wind up ripping the tape into tiny pieces before you can finally get it up to use it. Frustrating? I should say so! However, if you use a paper clip while you are using it, you can slide the tape down threw the paper clip and the paper clip will keep the end from sticking back to the whole roll. Store it with the paper clip in place and you won't waste any tape again.

Zipper Pull

Don't toss out your favorite jeans, or that cute purse or backpack. If you have a zipper pull that has disappeared, use a paper clip in it's place. It works just as easily and is a much cheaper alternative to buying a new one!

Do you have any great ideas for using up those paper clips? Please share with us!
